ItemLog Terms of Service

Please read these Terms before using ItemLog. By downloading, opening, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Service Overview
ItemLog is an inventory and expiry tracking utility for recording household items, organizing supplies, and setting reminders. Features may include manual entry, photo-assisted entry, AI assistant replies, local notifications, optional system cloud sync, and optional subscriptions.
2. Your Responsibilities
- Use the app lawfully and responsibly.
- Review AI-assisted results before relying on them or saving them.
- Keep your device and Apple ID secure.
- Do not reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the app or related services.
- Do not submit content that violates laws or the rights of others.
3. AI and Recognition Results
AI-assisted recognition can make mistakes because of lighting, image quality, packaging, model behavior, or incomplete information. You are responsible for reviewing item names, dates, quantities, reminders, and other details before using them.
For medicine, baby products, health-related supplies, food safety, allergens, or other high-risk items, always follow the package label, manufacturer instructions, and professional guidance. ItemLog is a utility tool and does not provide medical, nutrition, safety, or professional advice.
4. Notifications and Data
Reminders depend on the dates and settings you configure, device settings, system notification permissions, and operating system behavior. Optional cloud sync depends on your platform account, cloud settings, network connection, and system service availability.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
Paid features, if available, are offered through platform in-app purchase. Prices, billing periods, trials, renewal terms, cancellation, refunds, and tax handling are shown by the platform and governed by your platform account settings.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your platform account settings. If a refund or entitlement revocation occurs, related paid benefits may be removed according to the platform transaction status.
6. Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves, as service providers change, or as required for security, legal, or operational reasons. Network features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or connectivity problems.
7. Intellectual Property
The app, interface, text, graphics, code, trademarks, and related materials are owned by the developer or respective rights holders. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the app or service materials.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ItemLog is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate records, missed reminders, unavailable network services, incorrect AI results, device issues, or third-party service interruptions, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
